Low tarnish sterling silver, Stainless Steel
Reversible
Hand drawn, CAD modified, laser cut, hand finished

Every detail was hand finished and the intricate details dazzle. Microscopic marine creatures Parrellina Imperatrix and Cecryphalium Clathrocyclas Europa were the inspiration for the layers of low tarnish sterling silver in this reversible cuff bracelet.

Thin silver layers keep the bracelet lightweight and stainless steel fasteners strengthen the bracelet while also reminding us that humankind’s activities on land affect even the tiniest of sea creature

I modified the creatures as I redrew the microscopic creatures by hand; based on the drawings below. I digitized the new hand drawings, modified them again in CAD and sent the designs to a laser cutter where the layers was cut in 30 gauge low tarnish sterling silver. I textured, burnished and hand finished each curve and cutout by hand.
