The earrings were inspired by the microscopic sea creatures in Ernst Haeckel’s radiolarian drawings from 1862 of a zooplankton.

Titanium front layer and argentium silver back layer. Stainless steel fasteners with handmade sterling silver spacers and niobium ear wires. Argentium sterling silver is a low tarnish sterling silver. Niobium is a hypo-allergenic metal.
The design is also available with an Argentium silver front layer and a titanium layer in the back (shown below)
