My Seaweed Wrap Cuff Bracelet was part of the exhibition of new art by the members of the Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild
INSPIRATION
In its wild underwater world, seaweed has beautifully fluid movements evoking an image difficult to remember when looking at remnants of seaweed that have broken loose and drifted onto a beach.
I created this cuff bracelet to replicate seaweeds original living beauty and bring that beauty up from the ocean depths.
The form was a continuation of my exploration of bracelets which encourage the viewer and the wearer to think outside traditional bracelet shapes and placements. “Seaweed Wrap” is personalized for each wearer’s arm.
