You may read more about my inspirations for the earrings, and also click around the exhibition web page to see all the other metal art pieces in the free online exhibit.

“History has inspired artists for thousands of years. Rather than simply borrow imagery from the past, this exhibition asks you to engage deeply with historical appropriation.” SNAG. The exhibition was juried by Michael Dale Bernard (UW-Milwaukee) and Emily Stoehrer (MFA Boston)
