The Radiolarian Design Modified Organism (DMO) series was inspired by “Art Forms in Nature” an 1862 publication of hundreds of microscopic sea creature drawings created by Ernst Haeckel during his visit to the Straight of Messina.

The jewelry was initially created in water via electrolytic etching of recycled sterling silver, an eco friendly process that allows unlimited re-use of the etching liquid and produces re-usable silver sludge as a by product. More recent creations are laser cut out into Argentium sterling silver and titanium offcuts from the race car industry.
